Learning Poster: I found this idea on another blog sight called Brightly Beaming Resources. As you can see in this picture, we are at week one. We keep it at a highly visible place and go through it several times a day. We have the weekly theme, which is butterflies, along with pictures to help him remember what we are doing and have done this week. We've introduced a shape or color (circle), number (one), and Uppercase letter (A), Nursery Rhyme (Mary Mary Quite Contrary) our vocabulary word and definition (antennae: the feelers on the head of a butterfly) a pocket that holds a flashcard with the word "Butterfly" on one side and the other side is a simple sentence using the word in a plural form "Butterflies are beautiful" and also a poem about butterflies.
